Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 当econet地址已配置，Linux kernel 2.6.36.2之前版本中的net/econet/af_econet.c文件中的econet_sendmsg函数中存在资源管理错误漏洞。本地用户可以借助为远程地址字段指定空值的sendmsg调用导致拒绝服务(空指针解引用以及OOPS)。
