The png_handle_sCAL function in pngrutil.c in libpng 1.0.x before 1.0.55, 1.2.x before 1.2.45, 1.4.x before 1.4.8, and 1.5.x before 1.5.4 does not properly handle invalid sCAL chunks, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted PNG image that triggers the reading of uninitialized memory.

libpng是一个可对PNG图形文件实现创建、读写等操作的PNG参考库。 libpng 1.0.55之前的1.0.x版本，1.2.45之前的1.2.x版本，1.4.8之前的1.4.x版本和1.5.4之前的1.5.x版本中的pngrutil.c的png_handle_sCAL函数不能正确处理无效的sCAL块。远程攻击者可借助触发读取未初始化内存的特制PNG图像导致拒绝服务（内存破坏和应用程序崩溃）。
