Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 3.0之前的版本中的security/apparmor/.c中的“apparmor_setprocattr ”函数中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于程序没有正确处理无效的参数。本地攻击者可通过写入/proc/#####/attr/当前文件，利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（空指针逆向引用和OOPS）或产生其他未明影响。
