Xen是英国剑桥大学开发的一款开源的虚拟机监视器产品。该产品能够使不同和不兼容的操作系统运行在同一台计算机上，并支持在运行时进行迁移，保证正常运行并且避免宕机。 Xen 3.4至4.2版本中存在漏洞，其更早版本也有可能存在该漏洞。该漏洞源于对set_p2m_entry函数的调用失败时，程序未正确地将p2m表格与m2p表格同步。具有HVM访客操作系统管理员权限的本地攻击者可利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（内存耗尽以及断言失败）。又名“内存映射失败拒绝服务漏洞”。
