Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 2.6.34之前的版本中的veth(又名虚拟Ethernet)驱动程序中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于在拥塞发生期间程序未正确管理skbs。远程攻击者可通过skb消耗的不足与双重释放错误的相结合利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（系统崩溃）。
