LightDM GTK+ Greeter是一套基于GTK+的Lubuntu及Xubuntu的默认显示管理器。 LightDM GTK+ Greeter 1.7.0及之前的版本中的lightdm-gtk-greeter.c文件中的‘start_authentication’函数中存在拒绝服务漏洞，该漏洞源于程序没有正确处理‘lightdm_greeter_get_authentication_user’函数的返回值。本地攻击者可通过空用户名利用该漏洞导致拒绝服务（空指针逆向引用）。
