Apple iOS和OS X都是美国苹果（Apple）公司的操作系统。Apple iOS是为移动设备所开发；OS X是为Mac计算机所开发。bootp是其中的一个基于IP/UDP协议的进行自动分配静态IP的组件。 Apple iOS 8.4.1之前版本和OS X 10.10.5之前版本的bootp组件中存在安全漏洞。远程攻击者可通过嗅探用于DNAv4广播流量的802.11网络利用该漏洞获取旧的Wi-Fi会话中可见的与MAC地址相关的敏感信息。
