An issue was discovered in Squid 3.x and 4.x through 4.8. Due to incorrect input validation, there is a heap-based buffer overflow that can result in Denial of Service to all clients using the proxy. Severity is high due to this vulnerability occurring before normal security checks; any remote client that can reach the proxy port can trivially perform the attack via a crafted URI scheme.

Vulnerability Description
Squid是一套代理服务器和Web缓存服务器软件。该软件提供缓存万维网、过滤流量、代理上网等功能。URI processor是其中的一个URI（统一资源标识符）处理器。 Squid 3.x版本和4.x版本至4.8版本中的URI processor存在缓冲区错误漏洞。远程攻击者可借助特制URI scheme利用该漏洞导致拒绝服务。
