Wireshark（前称Ethereal）是Wireshark团队开发的一套网络数据包分析软件。该软件的功能是截取网络数据包，并显示出详细的数据以供分析。 Wireshark 1.4.12之前的1.4.x版本和1.6.6之前的1.6.x版本中的MP2T解析器中的epan/dissectors/packet-mp2t.c的mp2t_process_fragmented_payload函数中存在漏洞。远程攻击者可利用该漏洞借助一个包含无效指针值（引起不正确内存分配企图）的数据包，导致拒绝服务（应用程序崩溃）。
