Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 3.0.44之前版本中的net/rds/recv.c中的‘rds_recvmsg’函数中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于没有初始化某些结构成员。本地攻击者可利用该漏洞通过在RDS套接字上的(1)recvfrom或(2)recvmsg系统调用，从内核栈内存中获取潜在的敏感信息。
