Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 3.8.2之前版本中的加密用户配置API中的报告API中的crypto/crypto_user.c中的‘crypto_report_one’函数中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于程序没有初始化某些结构成员。通过CAP_NET_ADMIN功能，本地攻击者利用该漏洞获得来自内核堆内存的敏感信息。
