Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 3.9-rc7之前的版本中的net/irda/af_irda.c中的‘irda_recvmsg_dgram’函数中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于程序未初始化某些长度变量。本地攻击者可通过特制的recvmsg或recvfrom系统调用利用该漏洞获得内核栈内存中的敏感信息。
