Forge（也称为 node-forge）是一个用 JavaScript 原生实现的传输层安全（TLS）库。在 1.4.1 版本之前，受影响的实现在调用、访问以及执行 RSA 密钥交换时，会处理相关输入或做出安全决策。node-forge 的 TLS 客户端在判断服务器证书是否缺失时，检查了错误的属性。因此，恶意的 TLS 服务器或路径上的对等方可故意省略 Certificate 消息，从而触发对缺失证书的解引用操作，导致未捕获的异常，最终使连接或进程终止。该问题已在 1.4.1 版本中修复。

Vulnerability Description

Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
